Badass thing, known as the "Space Patrol" ship as a Spacex range toy and "Space Command Ship" as packaged here for the Golden Astronaut line. Looks like a derivation on the SR-71 "Blackbird" design, but let's refer to Commodore Vreede's Triang Spacex / Golden Astronaut website for data:
... Captured by the Daleks?? What???
Huh ... Interesting.
Note the early framing method for the blister's inner area.
SUCH excitement. Oh man.
The set's Gerry Anderson in a non- standard LP pose.
No markings on his base but definitely a product of LP Toys.
As it turns out I'd already had a VG+ condition Space Command Ship, and indeed the real hankering for the set was based on the unused sprue of rockets.
I want those.
My Spacex "Base Patrol Cricket" also has a sprue of what appear to be identical rockets.
This "Apollo Moon Exploring" No.304L also has a sprue of unused rockets for its Major Matt Mason Laser Cannon rocket launcher.
Shape and size appear to be about the same.
Grrrr!!! I WANT MY ROCKETS ...
ISN'T THIS EXCITING!!!!
