Golden Astronaut "Moon Prospector" Vehicle aka Triang Spacex "Explorer MEV2" with GRABBER ARM! Mint On Card

Bitchin'. That's just awesome, even the price tag rules. And if my understanding of how the units were packaged is correct the framing piece around the blister window indicates an original first-run.

You would get out of its way.

Golden Astronaut has no markings on his base and is cast in an MPC "Pistol and Lunch Box" pose reduced to GA size, which is fascinating.

Click here for the Sx/GA website's guide to the Golden Astronaut figures, which were all made by LP Toys in Hong Kong even if the pose is germane to MPC's spacemen rather then LP's. And unless I be mistaken, since it's a reduction in size it didn't come out of an MPC mould. They cast that from scratch.

Compared with my carded Spacex "Explorer MEV2", with its orange wheels and blue arm. Note disconnected antenna piece sealed under the blister ... Must have been a long day at the plant over there in Hong Kong. What's a Spacex Error Car worth?

Had scored the GA variant with the intention of opening either and now can't bring myself to do it ... A third?? Sheesh.

Temporary Ogle Wall position while awaiting polybagging and re-arrangement of display to fit it in place with the other carded GA scores. Silvery spaceman next to him just ID'd as a British made Tudor Rose figure. Never knew I had one! and am offing him to another collector who specializes in the form. Already got my eye on a six inch Marx astronaut with the flag & consider it an even trade.

Join up! Talked to my man Charlie Sam about getting this onto a t-shirt, am thinking it will be in white on a black shirt above the left breast. Contemplating it being on a pocket of a pocket t-shirt as well -- It'll be cool or I won't wear it.
