Premiere Chromed Space Figure, Likely 1950s, Space Ship Pilot/Passenger?

UPDATE 8.20.19: This figure now identified as a Premiere space figure missing his ray gun in upheld hand & will soon join the collection of an enthusiast who specializes in the form. To me he's an intriguing photo subject suggesting entropy, to him he's part of a Quest. I'm on one too for my own forms and am delighted to help fuel another collector's frenzy.

Dunno anything about this guy, other then that he was obtained with some other verified vintage space figures and is likely 1950s. Looks to me like he might have been a passenger or pilot from a larger spaceship toy? Peg holes on back + left foot bottom, peg remnant on head and a disc-shaped protrusion likely meant to fit into a notch all speak of him having had a purpose other then just standing there.

Looks like he was first painted brown (primer coat?) and then chromed.

Definitely looks like a broken attachment peg on his head. Missing hand also suggests he was from a larger toy which came to an unhappy fate & he the only survivor.

Still a favorite! The missing hand ends an immediate "aging" or act of entropy to suggest it is a relic or remnant, or just artfully damaged by time.
