Soma "Star Riders" HO Scale Space Figures Set, 1996, With Female!

Have seen these around before and something told me the second figure from the left on the bottom row was female. Wish I'd been at Big Lots the day these were uncrated, there's at least two other figure sets, some space ships, and an ingenious "pop-up book" space city for them to inhabit. May have to look into that! Self-stored playset modules are one of the avenues I wish to pursue with my own toy set creations.

Odd blister package with the figures actually sandwiched between two laters of plastic, and behind them a pretty cool little collection of space scenes. Am debating ways to open it without destroying the printing as one can't just split the bottom open & shake them out. Maybe carve a little door for each figure?

Yup. That's a girl.

I like this one.

Very cool.

Shijumi from Starship Troopers.

UPDATE 12.23.19: I opened them.

Random New Old Stock Plastic Space "Rack Toys": PLONG! Jean Hoefler Astronauts, Hong Kong Spacemen, Vintage Parachuting Astronaut

Yeah ... this was a good Saturday. And none of these cost all that much. I'm not interested in the tin lithograph clockwork ejection module firing Yonezawa classics. Maybe someday, but my interest is in plastics, rack toys, Made in Hong Kong, and the Golden Astronaut legacy.

Made in West Germany somewhere's between 1968 and 1975. Interesting packaging concept in that there were six different backgrounds, and by piecing them together the collector could amass a little diorama set.

Plug-Head Pod-Foot "Swoppet" style spacemen, with a 1978 date helpfully included on the backing card.

I want to open this up soo bad.

Forms by Marx, likely cast by Multiple Toymakers, no date but likely 1970 - 1975 or so just based on the typesetting.

All marked Made In Hong Kong. So they are bootlegged Marx guys.

Would like to pay a visit to this "Odd-Lot" ...

There's more ...
